Studio work has truly become one of my favorite ways to photograph. There’s something so elevated, clean, and timeless about shooting in a studio—it allows the focus to stay exactly where it belongs: on you. From soft, intimate boudoir sessions to portraits, families, branding, and couples, studio spaces offer a versatility that works beautifully across every type of session.

One of the biggest perks of studio photography—especially here in Utah—is consistency. During the winter and early spring months, studios are an incredible option for avoiding unpredictable weather while still achieving stunning, natural-looking light. With large windows and controlled environments, we’re able to shoot during ideal daytime lighting no matter the season, creating bright, polished imagery without the stress of rescheduling around weather.

If you’ve been dreaming of an indoor studio session, I would absolutely love to help bring that vision to life. Below are my top studio recommendations—spaces I’ve personally shot in multiple times and confidently recommend to my clients. Each studio offers beautiful light, thoughtful accommodations, and a clean, versatile aesthetic that photographs effortlessly.

Whether you’re planning a branding session, an intimate boudoir shoot, or timeless portraits, studio photography is such a beautiful investment—and these spaces truly elevate the entire experience.

Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, Studio Elevn is the largest studio on this list and my top recommendation. The space features a stunning floor-to-ceiling white cyc wall, soaring ceilings, and large industrial windows that flood the studio with beautiful natural light. It’s an ideal setting for portraits, families, couples, large groups, and elevated branding sessions.

This spacious studio includes a designated changing area, vanity, and a wide variety of props, making it perfect for smaller groups, large groups, and full-scale productions.
